The department of Pulmonary Medicine was established in the year 2013. The founding Professor & HOD was Dr. Mihir Kumar Goswami, MD. At present department comprises of 22 beds in Pulmonary Medicine Ward with one unit. Out of 22 beds,14 beds are marked for male and 8 for female patients. The department had provided treatment both OPD, IPD and emergency services. There are well equipped OPD and IPD area.
