About

Since its establishment in 2009, the Department of Physiology at Jorhat Medical College and Hospital has been committed to providing quality academic guidance to undergraduate, postgraduate, and paramedical students. The department was founded under the leadership of Dr. Rajendra Kr. Kalita, with Dr. Geeta Baruah currently serving as the Head of the Department.

The faculty members are actively engaged in various research activities, contributing to advancements in the field of physiology. Additionally, the department provides diagnostic services to the institute, including performing Electroencephalograms (EEG) for patients.
